This interactive panel discussion brings you all-star VCs for their insider perspective on how to best raise capital, what questions to ask, why it’s important to understand the life cycle of the fund, and their favorite pet peeves. Cost:  Free to members and $40 non-members

Training: Fundamentals of Sustainable and Impact Investment. (Hosted by US SIF and the CFA Society of San Diego)

Fundamentals of Sustainable and Impact Investment will provide tools for financial advisors and other investment professionals to meet the growing client demand for sustainable, responsible and impact investing (SRI). Cost: US SIF Members: $250 – Non-members: $300 – Student (Full-Time): $125. The training is to include four modules –

  1. An Overview of Sustainable, Responsible, and Impact Investing
  2. Approaches to ESG, SRI Portfolio Construction Considerations and Shareowner Advocacy
  3. Performance Studies, Fiduciary Standards, and Other Key Issues
  4. Communicating your SRI Expertise with Clients
